Chem-Dry’s approach to urine removal from carpets and rugs is based on identifying pet accidents in your home and eliminating the associated staining and odors using its revolutionary cleaning product P.U.R.T. II ® (Pet Urine Removal Treatment). It’s a simple 5-step process
- Once you contact us for a pet urine odor removal treatment, a trained professional will be at your place to identify the source of the odor using black light technology or a penetrating moisture meter.
- Depending on the extent of the damage, the technician may need to apply an odor blocking resin to the flooring substrates underneath the carpet.
- Once the prep work is done, the area of the pet accident is thoroughly cleaned using Chem-Dry’s patented carbonating cleaning process. Liquid and loose urine crystals alike are lifted from even the deepest layers of the carpet. These are then extracted without the need for harsh chemicals and/or an excessive amount of water. Chem-Dry uses green certified and eco-friendly cleaning products safe for kids and pets.
- After the hot carbonating extraction process, the technician will apply Chem-Dry’s proprietary cleaning product, P.U.R.T. II ® (Pet Urine Removal Treatment) to the affected area.
